Big news and Workout/Food Journals!

Hey everyone (: Hope you all had a fantastic weekend and happy fathers day to all the dads out there! As for every body who was doing the Tone it Up bikni challenge, the grand prize was a trip to california and yesterday K & K posted a video announcing the 5 finalist! You can check out the video on their youtube page or on their blog. They want everyone to vote on who should win the final prize, so don't forget to check out their videos on youtube and vote! I love all of the ladies and  I wish they could all go because they all deserve it! So good luck to all of you ladies!

Anyways the main thing I wanted to discus today is workout and food journals. Most people when they start a weightloss/fitness program don't keep food and workout journals but they are very helpful and offer many benefits. When you keep a workout and food journal you can keep track of what your eating and you can see how often your working out. If your not having success in your weight loss journey these tools can help you to see areas which you may improve on. If you are having sucess with your weight loss journey then these tools can help you to see what is working for you. Keeping a journal can also help organization skills and will encourage you to eat right and workout. You don't want to see a bunch of junk food in your food journal and you don't want your workout journal to be empty so filling it with healthy foods and excellent workouts is great motivation! (or so i think anyways) So if your truly dedicated to eating right and working out then a workout and food journal is a great tool to help you get started on the right track, of course once you get into a routine you can slowly cut it out. Besdies a food and weightloss journal I also have a note book with my measurements and weight in it so i can keep track and visually see my progress.*
So if you haven't already started one start now! Don't forget your booty call in the morning too! Happy eating&exercising (:

*some people also use photos along the way to track their progress this is also a great tool I use!
